ArthurDUNKLEY("UNC") Sadly, passed away peacefully, at home, on Wednesday 20th March 2024, aged 95 years.

Much loved Brother to Joan, loving Uncle to Johnny, Rita, David, Gloria, Arthur, Duncan and their partners. A treasured Great Uncle to all his Great Nephews and their families.

Arthur, a real character, was a former Newspaper seller of the Manchester Evening News outside Lewis's. The lives of all his family and friends will be much less colourful without him but remain enriched by the memories.

A funeral service is to be conducted on Wednesday 17th April 1:30pm at Manchester Crematorium.

Donations, in favour of Alzheimer's Society, via https://arthurdunkley.muchloved.com or flowers, are welcome

I lived next door to Arthur for about 30 years, one of the nicest people I've met in that time. We shared a beer or two over the fence now and then. A couple of times I heard a strange noise at my front door, it was Arthur just coming home from the Old Monkey (slightly worse for wear) I'd open the door and he'd say "what are you doing in my house " I'd say your from next door Arthur and walk him home and made sure his house was secure for the night.
He was the best neighbour you could wish for and
Will be sadly missed.
