On Sunday 7th July 2024, Sheila passed away peacefully at The Beeches Care Home, Hayle, aged 99 years.

Beloved mother of Jackie and Vivien, mother-in-law of Trevor and Klaus, devoted gran of Janice, Suzy, Matthew, Sonia, Marc and Nicola, proud great-grandmother to her many great grandchildren.

Funeral service at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne, on Tuesday 6th August at 1:00pm.

Family flowers, but donations in memory of Sheila will be welcomed for Marie Curie. They can be left via this page, a retiring collection, or sent to the Funeral Director at the address below.

I don’t know how to get in touch with Sheila’s family but hope someone will pick this up. I just wanted to say what a lovely service at the crematorium today. I am sorry I couldn’t attend but I really enjoyed being able to watch in line. You all did her proud. Vivienne what a wonderful tribute and granddaughter a fitting eulogy. Glen Millar just a perfect ending made me smile. Thank you and good luck and a happy future to all her family. Yvonne Thompson.

To Sheila’s family. I am so sad to hear of the passing of Sheila. She was such a wonderful lady. I will smile ever time I think of her and her tales of her life as a land girl during the war years. Bless her.

So sad to read this

Mrs Ellis was my Audio-Typing lecturer at Mid Cornwall College in the early 1980's. She was extremely kind to me and one of the mist inspirational teachers I ever had. She influenced me greatly and I still think of her often. A real lady who loved her golf and cared about her students.

My love and condolences to all her family .
