ColinELLISFollowing a short illness courageously fought, Colin passed away peacefully aged 84 on 10th August 2024 surrounded and cared for by his family.

A loving and much loved Husband to Celia, a devoted Dad to Mark, Dawn & Nicola. An amazing Father in Law to Rachael and Mike and a legend of a Grandad to Jade, Lawrence, Sophie, Ellie & Isabelle.

Colin was previously the Managing Director of Tates Spar Convenience stores, a lifelong member of Cleethorpes Golf Club and season ticket holder at Blundell Park.

Colin will be greatly missed by his family, friends & all who knew him.

A service to celebrate Colin's life will be held on Tuesday 27th August at Grimsby Crematorium, to commence at 3.15pm. The family have chosen to wear colour in their clothes to represent the brightness in Colin's life.

Immediate family flowers only please, with donations to Loros Hospice in Leicestershire & Marie Curie who cared for him throughout his illness with incredible compassion & expertise. And St. Andrews Hospice where Colin was a Director & Chairman for some years.
