Dearest Sam… my long-time hairdresser yes - but you were so much more than that to me… a friend, confidante, neighbour, and a pure ray of sunshine during each and every one of my bi-monthly visits to the salon for nearly 2 decades. So missing us shrieking with laughter and jigging around to ska music together in between snips. A true force of nature who will never be forgotten. I feel privileged to have had such a beautiful soul in my life. My heart goes out to Neil, Cassia and the rest of Sam’s family including Sam and Neil’s gorgeous fur babies xxx

Thank you for being simply you and your true self Sam. That’s what we ( May, Lawrence, Dani and Michelle) always recognised and applauded you for. Every time we saw you, no matter how much time had passed, it was so natural and as importantly great FUN to pick up with you again. Michelle and Danielle were so fortunate to call you Aunt Sam. Thank you for that. May x
