I have only just heard of the sad news of Stuart’s passing. He was my dentist as a boy. It was his influence that encouraged me to train as a dentist. The roles were then reversed as he became a patient of mine! A lovely warm hearted and generous man. Condolences to the family. Many fond memories.

Stuart was a good friend of mine for 25 years. He was a lovely, warm and kind man. He was the most generous man you will ever meet. He had an enquiring mind and we spent so very many evenings discussing, arguing and debating every subject under the sun, always sharing a bottle or 5 of good red wine, a shared passion that gave us both a lot of pleasure.
I will miss those big wet kisses on the lips that he always greeted me with. I loved him dearly and I would like to know if his remains are laid to rest anywhere that I could visit? Perhaps someone could let me know?

Dear Family and friend of Stuart
We are a group of students that attended the same university hostel with Stuart. It was the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.
We have formed a Google Group and stayed in that way in contact with each other.
Stuart has been a valuable, much loved member of our group of 30 members. We shared events such as birthdays and illness; and Stuart was the one that always interacted passing on positive remarks.
We learned about his death only on his birthday, 1 January. We offer our condolences, albeit late. We only hope that the family is OK and that Stuart suffering was bearable.
Kind regards

Stuart was one of the kindest, loving, generous and compassionate person we have had the privilege of knowing. He adored his beautiful family, he was a loyal and trusted friend, who will be sadly missed but never forgotten, he holds a place in our heart forever.
