James FrancisFLANAGANJim/Jimmy passed away peacefully on 28 July 2024 at home in Redland, in the loving care of his family in his 88th year.

Formerly of Clonoon, Woodford, County Galway, Ireland.

Devoted Husband to Una. Loving Father to Alison, Robert and Noel and Father in law to Simon and Suzie. Adored Grandad to Thomas, Milo, Finlay, Ethan, Lucy and James. Beloved Brother to Mary, Rita, Sean, Kevin, Ignus, Noel and Gerard. Predeceased by Sister Annie and Brothers Martin, Peter, Michael Joe, Paddy, Willie and Thomas. Jim will also be greatly missed by his huge extended family, godchildren, friends and neighbours.

May Jim's kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Funeral service will take place at Clifton Cathedral on Tuesday 13 August 2024 at 2pm followed by a cremation service at South Bristol Crematorium at 3.45pm.

Family flowers only please. Jim was a great supporter of the Little Sisters of the Poor and their devotion to the care of the elderly. Our parents, Francis and Lee Mccall moved to Bristol in 1972, knowing no one . As luck would have it, they were to have the kindest and most helpful neighbours in Jim and Una for 45 years.
