Julie loved serving in the youth work at our church because she was young at heart and loved the young people. She enjoyed bringing plenty of chocolate treats for them. She was unassuming and good company; a very personable lady.
We look forward to seeing you again Julie.
Love Mark & Karen xx

My most faithful, loyal and kindest friend…. We have shared life, for so many years. We have laughed and cried… there are no times, when you haven’t been there, to celebrate or comfort… Me and My family have been so blessed to have your love. We will miss you so much, no words can express, how much…Till we meet again, my beautiful friend xxx

I didn’t know Julie well but working at Central Library met her often - she was one of those people who always seemed to know the how, who, what and where. It was my good fortune that she was always happy to share what she knew. She was also unfailingly kind, empathetic and supportive. I think she treated everyone with the same generosity of spirit, be they friends, co-workers or random people on the no 6 bus that we sometimes shared. The world needs more Julies, more of her kindness, laughter and irrepressible good humour. More silly hats wouldn’t hurt either. Julie, you were an example to us all. Rest in Peace.
