Fernley Furze was my PE teacher at Redruth Grammar School. He was an inspiration to all us young boys, particularly as he strode through the town swinging his brolly and making all the young girls swoon and go weak at the knees with his good looks and swagger. He always had time to spend with us all and give good guidance and help. He will always be in my memories. My thoughts to his family at this sad time,

We have very fond memories of times spent skiing in Austria. Fernley will also be very missed as a much respected neighbour.
