Died peacefully in the Leicester Royal Infirmary on 15th August 2026



Loving husband to Glenis, loving father to Patrick, Lucy and Son in Law Jim.

Loving Grandad to Holly, Fern and Declan.



Many thanks to LRI for the excellent care he received and the support we as a family received.



Peter will be loved and missed always.



Peter's funeral will be held on Monday 14th September 2026 at 12 noon - Gilroes Crematorium.

Afterwards a celebration of his life will be held at the Royal Navy, Military and Social Club, Loughborough Road, Leicester. Where all are welcome.



Family flowers only. There will be a donation to Cancer Research for those who wish to give.

Rest in peace Peter in the knowledge that you were one of lifes true gentleman. Thank you for being a part of my life. I was always in awe of the fact that you served on the Royal Yacht Brittania, and interacted with the Royal Family. See you on the other side mate.
