CynthiaGOODESadly, in the early hours of new years day, and after a recent decline in health, retired nurse, mum and proud grandma Cindy Goode (84yrs) passed away peacefully at The Valleys Care Home in Scunthorpe.

She leaves behind a life of love, true friendship, dedication and a loving, devoted family in Mark Goode (Son), Daughter-in-law Louise, Grandchild Emily, Step-son Victor Goode.

Mark and the family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all that supported, loved and cared for Cindy over the years. Including valued, loyal friends and neighbours

- Eric & Jenny Johnson, Cindy's long-time friend Sonia Walker, and all the carers/care providers that helped Cindy live as fully independent as possible over the last few years (NHS Home First, HALES Homecare, and all on Ruby Suite at The Valleys Care Home in Scunthorpe).

Cindy will be laid to rest alongside her loving husband of over 50yrs - Bill Goode, who passed away in 2015.

Mark and family would like to invite all who knew, loved and respected Cindy, to join them to say their goodbyes at 11.20am, on Tuesday 28th January at Woodlands Crematorium/Scunthorpe Cemetery, Brumby Wood Lane, Scunthorpe DN17 1SP.

Those unable to attend, can watch via a webcast/live stream link (please contact either the Family or Co-op Funeralcare, 2 Bottesford Road, Ashby, Scunthorpe DN16 3HE for details).

Floral tributes accepted, please notify via the family or via Co-op Funeralcare (details above).

Donations in Cindy's name, to either SSAFA - The Armed Forces Charity, or Dogs Trust animal rescue centres.

To a dear lovely friend Cindy I shall sadly miss u love we had a right good old laugh and fun with you u were so lovely to talk to and share sadness together I hope u rest in peace Cindy knowing that everyone that knew u u did a good job in what u did for everyone in the hospital goodnight my dear friend sleep tight with Ur mum and dad love Wendy x
