Sending my love and condolences to Yvonne, Shirley and the whole family.

Some people walk into your life and straight into your heart- Steve was one of those people for me.

Such a positive soul, I adored his wit and will cherish his letters filled with musings about Newcastle Utd’s (hopefully illustrious) future. They just don’t make them like Steve anymore and the world is a lot less bright now he has left us.

I take comfort in the fact he has now reunited with his beloved Elsie.

I will miss you dearly Steve.

The world would be a much better place if there were more people in it like Steve Goulden. Steve was such a lovely man, Goulden by name and Goulden by nature.
