LeslieGREENWOODThe family would like to announce the peaceful passing of Les whilst in the care of Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby on Tuesday 6th February 2024, aged 93 years.
Les is now reunited with his adored late wife Bet. He was a much-loved dad of Lesley, Steven and Vikki and a beloved father-in-law of Di,
Les was also a precious grandad of Matthew, Daniel, Christian, Jessica, Gareth, Luke and Olivia, a much-loved great grandad of Joel, Louis, Connie, Sophie, Amelie, Lucy, Oliver, Simon and Samuel, a special brother-in-law of Sheila and a dear uncle and friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A service to celebrate Les’s life will take place on Thursday 29th February 2024 at 11am at the Grimsby Central Hall in the Fisherman’s Chapel, Duncombe Street, Grimsby followed by a private committal in Scartho Road Cemetery.
Family flowers only but if so desired, donations may be made in lieu to the Grimsby Sailors and Fishing Charity or can be given on the day of the service.
