Alan JamesHALLFollowing a short illness bravely borne, Alan passed away peacefully aged 68 on 23rd July 2024 surrounded by his family.

A loving and much loved Husband to Jane, a devoted Dad to Gavin, Ryan & Vickie, Victoria and Richard, a caring Grandad to Lucy and Leighton.

Alan was a hardworking, dedicated and inspirational Lion, a knowledgeable and passionate School Governor and a steadfast Scunthorpe United fan. Alan will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

A service will be held on Friday 16th August at 12:30pm at St Hybalds Church Hibaldstow, followed by a committal at Woodlands Crematorium.

Immediate Family flowers only please, with donations in Alan's memory for Lindsey Lodge Hospice who cared for him with such kindness during his final days. These can be made either at the service or sent c/o J Naylor Funeral Directors Comforts Avenue Scunthorpe DN15 6PN Tel: 01724 280082

Very sorry to hear this news of Alan, Jane. Alan was a firm work colleague and friend while at Doverstrand, through the years 1977 to 2002. They were great years, well spent.
