CarlHAMPassed away after a short battle with cancer on 7th October 2026.

The word gentlemen and legend are thrown around too much, but this is exactly what our Husband, Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend was.

The world will move on as you wanted it to, but please know that there will not be a day that goes by that we don't think of you and wish you were with us.

Thank you for everything. We will love you forever.

Funeral service to take place on Thursday 29th October 2026 at Chanterlands Crematorium 1.30pm (Large Chapel).

Family flowers only please but donations if desired to Dove House Hospice, collection plate at service.

Resting at John Parkin & Son, 3 Saltshouse Road. Tel. 376104.

My wife and I knew Carl, Frank and their family for many years before moving house. As has been indicated Carl was such a nice, friendly, helpful person with a great demeanour. My wife also sadly passed away due to cancer just a few weeks prior to Carl, so I guess I have some understanding of how you are all feeling. Such a lively bloke, R. I. P. Carl.

P. S. I wish I could attend his service, but have no transport at the moment, I will however be with you all in spirit, as will Jane.
