I met Doris and Doug while my mum was at Lawton Rise and have kept in touch with lovely Doris since. Her friendship has been a huge support to me while my mum has been so ill, as I hope mine has to her. My husband and I were so sorry to hear the news that Doug had died and would like to offer our heartfelt condolences to Doris, her whole family and all Doug's friends. Doris, we'll be holding you in our hearts tomorrow and raising a glass to Doug. In friendship, Hannah and Duncan Gill xxx
