DavidHARRIESDr David James Harries of Truro sadly passed away at the Royal Cornwall Hospital on the 31st August 2026 aged 72. David was a committed Palliative Medicine & Geriatric Consultant, and he worked at various UK hospitals & latterly at The Bermuda Hospital Board. David is mourned by his wife Dorette, sisters, sisters in law, brothers in law, step children, nieces, nephews, his special grandson and close friends.

The Funeral Service will be held at Penmount Crematorium on Sunday 20th September 2026 at 11am.

Please wear blue & family flowers only. However should you wish to make a donation please go to cornwallhospice.org as this is where Dave worked while here in Cornwall and also in recognition of his passion for palliative care. Donations for Cornwall Hospice Care will also be accepted by the Funeral Directors Malcolm Carveth, San Marino, Goonbell, St Agnes, TR5 0PQ. (Tel 01872 552587).
