Chris created many lasting memories for us. The warmth of his welcome, his generosity with his time, his genuine interest in us and in our lives and families, his tales of his life and travels across the globe will live forever in our memories. He was a gifted storyteller and musician from our younger days- often regaling us with his adventures and broadening our musical knowledge. He encouraged us to be adventurous in our lives following his lead. We were delighted to be part of his marriage celebrations with Yukiko along with the rest of our families as we could see he had found his life’s soulmate. In recent years we valued both his and Yukiko’s presence at our family weddings and other celebrations as they were always part of our family. Chris, we will miss you dearly. As our first cousin, you were the direct link between our parents and our generation. Rest in peace dear cousin. Margaret, Peter, Anne and families xx

Was an honour for my path to cross Chris's path. I marvelled at all the stories Chris told me in his life and I have learn so much from Chris.

Chris always welcome Yoko and I with welcoming opening arms and nothing was ever too much. His knowledge and intellect was beautiful. Loved the way he made everyone feel at ease and the match of Yukiko and Chris was beautiful.

The joy Chris brought to our life is immeasurable. A true gentleman. Was a pleasure. Rest in peace
