Sad news. Not seen you in about 20 years but great childhood memories. Rest in peace pal

Laurence was a gentle soul with a heart of gold,
A ready smile that never grew old.
Up for a game of 10-pin, always a delight,
Enjoying dad jokes, laughing and sharing his light.

Smart and mathematical, his brain sharp and bright,
Always on the go, from morning 'till night.
Awake after ciggies and coffee's warm embrace,
He'd engage in life at his own lively pace.

A rugby game, always a treat,
Live or on screen, he'd never miss a beat.
Our last holiday in Bali, a memory so dear,
The monkey park's serenity, his presence so clear.

With animals, he had a special bond,
A natural calmness, like a magic wand.
He leaves us all with an ache in our hearts,
But our wonderful memories will never depart.
You were dearly loved Larry,

With laughter always in his heart,
Great hugs that never fell apart.
A fist pump when things went right,
His kindness, always a gentle light.

Adventures awaited, he'd eagerly greet,
Stories of the past, he'd gladly repeat.
He accepted me with open arms, pure and clear,
His chats at 90 miles an hour, so dear.

Always on the go, with plans so grand,
With you and your dad, spinning the land.
Quick as lightning, never staying still,
New schemes and dreams, fulfilling his will.

Though he's gone, his spirit still soars,
In every hug, in every new door.
Forever cherished, in hearts he'll stay,
Laurence, our guiding light, night and day.

Sadly missed and deeply cherish step-son, we shared some wonderful memories.
