The obituary notice of Violet Joan (1930-2025) HILL

We are all very sad at the passing of Violet, no one more so than my Mum. Friends for many years with loads of great memories, from big wins at bingo to be recused from a flood by fireman. She was extremely kind and always send card and presents for all our children. A star will be shining bright for us all. Lots of love and condolences to all her family. Vi was my mother in law. Strange to think I met her in 1987 when she was younger than I am now. She was a born giver. A very generous person who it was difficult to buy gifts for in return. She was extremely family orientated and a wonderful grandma to our children and their cousins. Vi loved animals - enjoying getting snacks for them as much as she did for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Giving to an animal charity in her honour feels to me like a chance to give her something she’d value.
I hope lots of her friends and wider family can join us in remembering and celebrating her long life. 🙏🏻
