JoyceHODGSON (Nee Simpson)(Wallsend) Sadly passed away on Sunday 14th June at the age of 92. Wife to the love of her life Joe. A much loved Mother to Christine and the late Geraldine. Sister to Stan and Marjorie. Adoring Nanna to John, Mark, Terry and Melanie. Best Great Nanna to Melissa, Georgia, Abbi, Rhianna, Leighton, Keighton, Dylan, Katy, Sophie, Lucy and Great-Great Nanna to Amelie. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside you every day. Unseen, unheard but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. Our Mother and Nanna has been at the centre of our universe for such a long time that life will never be the same. The end of an era. We love and miss you forever. xxxxx. Many thanks to Claire and all the carers at Unisus who helped to look after my Mother, especially in the last week when things were hard, they gave her utter respect and allowed her to have a dignified last few days. Family flowers only.
