My sincere sympathies to Janice and all the family members on the passing of 'Hop'. Three words that capture his life perfectly are Family, Friends and Football.
I played football with 'Hop' over a fifteen year period with EMGAS and Manor, winning a few trophies along the way. Over thirty years later we would laugh and joke about the matches, the characters and the arguments from those never to be forgotten days.
Gutted I can't make your 'last match', but no more fitting venue than Sincil Bank to send you on your way. There's only one Ian "Hoppy" Hopkins.
