It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Hughes on the 14th September 2026.

Marilyn leaves behind her devoted husband Ken, her three children Phillip, Jane and Clare, her sons-in-laws Joe and Jason, her grandchildren Joshua, Aimee, Elliot, Isaac and Lucas, and her beloved great granddaughter Delilah.

She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Marilyn was a much-loved wife, mum, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother.

Marilyn's funeral will take place on Tuesday 6th October at 11.30am at the New Chapel Manchester Crematorium.

The family kindly ask that bright colours be worn to Marilyn's funeral as a reflection of her personality and the joy she brought to those around her.

Following the funeral everyone is warmly invited to join the family at Chorlton Golf Club where we can come together to remember Marilyn and celebrate her life.
