Peacefully in hospital with her loving family by her side on Wednesday 24th July 2024 aged 80 years. Wendy, devoted Partner of John, adored Mam to Michael, Darren, Claire, Danny and the late Karen, cherished Nana to Cheryl, Limara, Chrissy, Georgia, Jordan, Britney, Grace, Lily and the late Brian, much loved Great Nana to Jasmine, Kaitlin, Amber, JJ and Cerena, dearly missed Great Great Nana to Bobby, loving Sister to Dennis and George and a true friend to so many. Wendy will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Would family and friends please meet for funeral service and cremation at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 7th August at 3:30pm.
All welcome afterwards for light refreshments and a further celebration of Wendy's life at Summerhill Bowling Club, Winchester Terrace, Newcastle, NE4 6EH.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers if desired to Macmillan and Alzheimer's Society.
Wendy's family have requested that you all wear something pink, or a splash of colour, no black please.
