Uncle Brian, you held my hand when I was a little girl, included me in everything over the years from takeaways to days away. I was
blessed to have you as my uncle Brian, the deep and meaningful conversations we had on the way to visit grampy Sammy and how you loved to find out what the kids were up to. You were always ready with a kind word of praise and support. So glad I got to hold your hand and let you know how much you meant to me, miss you always Beckie, Gareth, Freya and Evan x

So very, very many happy memories of you over the years Uncle Brian. Time at the 'old' house in South William St with you all, it was never quiet 😊 especially if you and Uncle Jimmy were both home driving Aunty Dorothy bonkers! Lady the boxer, Rosie the Ferret, chickens in the yard, Ian and I getting older and you taking us out in your car - we thought it was so cool, none of us had cars!! You moving to the 'new' house with the indoor loo and nanna's joy at having a proper bath!! Us growing up, having our own kids, more happy memories of you and them.
Life can be cruel and it did a number on you this time around. You were so brave and stoic, worrying about everybody else and still funny, teasing the staff as always! I will always treasure the time that I got to spend with you during those final few precious weeks. I will miss you so much, sleep tight Uncle Brian. Lots of love Lynne, Paul and Luke xxx
