And so Richard, the sun has finally set on 28 years of happiness, love, and our amazing globe-trotting adventures together.

Precious times spent with your beloved mother, your brothers and their families.

Wonderful memories made from times shared with all members of my family, and our friends, but especially with my children and grand children.

All are cherished moments, never to be forgotten.

Rest In Eternal Peace Richard. You were a loving father figure to me and wonderful grandfather to our children; you thoroughly enjoyed sharing every milestone and adventure with us for so many years. Always the one who loved to play along with the silly games, telling your tales and joining in with all the activities…your sense of fun was enduring. You were never happier than when you were centre of attention either fundraising with your roles with The Padley Group or notably at your huge 75th birthday party; what a celebration that was! Although taken from us, you will live on in our hearts and memories. Cheers Richard! xx

Mischievous, full of adventure and stories, Richard always brought a sparkle to our family get-togethers. A beloved brother and friend to our much missed Dad. Rest in peace dear uncle. xxx

I will miss Uncle Richard. He was swashbuckling and as a child I remember him to be a lot of fun. He had a twinkle in his eye and an entrepreneurial spirit. He loved his family. Rest in peace now uncle x
