Gertrude HazelJONESPassed away at her home on Saturday 13th of July 2024, aged 98.

Beloved wife of the late Gordon Stewart Jones, cherished mam of Ceri, Siân and Carys. Loving nan to Catryn and Owen and great grandma to Steffan, Harri and Ted.

Loved and missed by all her family and friends.

Service at Pidgeons Chapel of Rest, midday 8th August 2024 followed by interment at St Andrews Cemetery, Dinas Powys.

Family and friends are invited to wear a splash of colour and celebrate Hazel's life at The Three Horseshoes, Station Road, Dinas Powys following interment.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Marie Curie.

Auntie Hazel was a very special person, always happy and had a radiant smile. At Christmas Hazel and my dad Edgar Hazel’s brother would sing In The Bleak Mid Winter to each other on the phone. On our annual holiday to Neath in the summer we would stop off at Sudcroft Street to visit our Cardiff family for lunch. We would go onto Neath to stay with our grandma Gertie where Hazel Gordon Ceri, Sian and Carys would come to join us. Auntie Hazel was life and soul of the party, some might say scatty!I would say Happy and Jolly.We will all miss her, Rest in Peace Auntie HazelLoretta Tony & David
