Mum, your heart bloomed as brightly as the roses you cherished, we will gather to honor a life defined by unwavering kindness and boundless love.
My mum was, in every sense of the word, a nurturer – of her garden, of every creature, and most profoundly, of her family and community.
She possessed a unique gift for seeing the needs of others, always ready with a helping hand, a listening ear, or a comforting word. It wasn't just a pastime for her; helping others was an innate part of who she was, a quiet dedication that inspired all fortunate enough to know her. She understood the true meaning of compassion, embodying the very lesson she imparted: to give back to those less fortunate. This wasn't just advice; it was the blueprint of her life, a legacy etched in every act of generosity.
In her garden, she found peace and expressed her innate ability to cultivate beauty, much like she cultivated love and strength within our family. And her love for cats spoke volumes about her gentle nature and capacity for unconditional affection.
The support and advice she offered were pillars in my life, steadfast and true. Through every challenge and triumph, her unwavering belief in her family was a constant source of strength. Her dedication to all of her family was absolute, a powerful and enduring force that knitted us together.
She leaves behind a legacy not just of memories, but of the values she lived by: kindness, compassion, and an enduring spirit of generosity. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the lessons she taught, the love she gave, and the profound impact she had on our lives will continue to blossom, just like the roses she so adored.
