My relationship with Ken goes back to the 1960s, when I began courting his sister Sheila my future wife. In that period he generally kept out of our way.
Gradually our relationship developed as he met his future wife Anne Married and children followed and our respective children became great friends, maintained to this day.
Many wonderful holidays were enjoyed over the years.
I played football with Ken in Liverpool Old Boys League, whilst he was small in size he was a very good player and could more than handle himself. He was also a very good cricketer playing for Egremont and then Birkenhead St Mary’s as a wicketkeeper batter
I was delighted when he asked me to be his Bestman at his marriage to Anne wonderful photos to follow.
The family move to Rochdale and mine to Bedford and then Canterbury ment contact was difficult but we did manage many visits over the years
He was a great guy good husband not backward in expressing his opion He was very supportive during the latter years of his parents and Mother in law

he will be sadly missed by Anne and all his family including his nephews and nieces Gerald

My incredible, (and very cheeky), dad-in-law Ken, you are so missed and will be eternally loved. Thank you for your never ending support, laughs and for always being able to deliver a perfectly timed one liner! And I promise to never let a roast spud go to waste! All my love, Susie xxx
