Punctual and patient, you have been with your students,
Exceptional and magnificent as a teacher.
Teaching was always your strength, especially by
Establishing your own rule and discipline and
Respecting everyone without any discrimination.

Knowing you as a teacher made us proud
Even though your depart has ruined us
Never we will forget a trustworthy man.
Nobody will forget your work for the apartheid and
Eternal will be your effort for the equality. Your
Duty was teaching life in the UK beside grammar and
You have achieved it well, devoted man!

My dear friend and comrade Pete. I will always remember our many evenings at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, our visits to the theatre (your love and knowledge of Shakespeare and Samuel Beckett, among others, was inspiring), to museums and art galleries in London, Chicago and New York. I can't believe we'll not meet and talk again. Phil
