Pete,

No words can describe the pain we are going through right now. You have been such a huge part of my life and I thank you for that.

The memories are many and ones I will cherish forever. Family times with Kelly and your girls, trips to the farm shop and all the girls birthdays, they did love having Grandad there.

You were taken far to soon and I will miss you so very much.

You can rest now.

Cant believe it pete you going like that I only seen you a few days before and you sending me messages nearly everyday m8. You are sadly missed already m8 such a lovely m8 I just find it hard your gone !. After football on a Thursday night it always ended up me you and jayne in the pub we would chat for hours. One thing pete I always laugh at when you helped darren ( donkey) out and he was up the ladder outside the office and the ladder slipped you was on the mobile phone and donkey was lying on the floor with the ladder on top off him it was all on video, and you just calmly came out looked at him on the floor and stepped over him all casually and carried on with your conversation as if nothing had happened lol. When I seen the video I was laughing my head off for days I still am now !. Pete you was a gentleman m8 and a very good friend liked by all m8 and very trustworthy !. My Dad. My rock. My go to.

I cherish every moment I was lucky enough to have with you. Always there, never letting me down and constantly letting me know how proud you were of me.

You were the person I called in an emergency, every single time, without question. If I was ever unsure about anything, I'd think, "Pete will know". I will miss our trips to the farm shop where you always ordered a milkshake and peice of cake...that sweet tooth! Or our conversations around the kitchen table, with the girls climbing onto your lap, constantly. To our endless trips to the park, with you holding their hand all the way.

If there were awards given out for "Best Grandad" you would have won every year!. You doted on our four girls completely. Always interested in their lives, always making time for them, giving them a love they will carry with them forever. You couldn't have been a better Grandad to them, and they couldn't have loved you more.

Pete, you are missed more than words can say. But your memory will never fade. I will keep it alive in our girls, in the stories we tell, in everything you taught us about love and being there for one another.

Until we meet again, Pete....My Dad. I love you.

Thank you for being such a wonderful father-in-law, and such a loving Grandad to my daughters.

You were always thoughtful, dependable and there whenever we needed you. You have been an inspiration to me over the years, and I will always be grateful for everything you did for us.

I will miss our chats about the football, and simply knowing that you were at the end of the phone whenever I needed some advice.

Thank you for always being there for us.

Rest easy, Pete. You will be deeply missed.
