Andrew PhilipLEVER13th January 1968 - 19 December 2024

Andrew's family are so sad to announce that following a brave battle against cancer he passed away peacefully in his new home at St Martins, Caerphilly in the early hours of December 19th 2024.

The family have experienced a 12 year journey living with cancer and were truly blessed with a happy and memorable last week together. He is a much loved husband to Claire Rees and a totally devoted, proud and loving father to Jack Rees-Lever and Agnes Rees Lever.

As a keen sportsman, kind, gentle and caring man he gave and received endless love for and from his immediate family, extended family and wide circle of friends and colleagues at Prescription Pricing.

The family will be celebrating Andrew's life at Thornhill Crematorium on Tuesday 7th January at 2.30pm and afterwards at the Caerphilly Miners Centre, Watford Road, Caerphilly.

A warm welcome to all.

No flowers please but donations appreciated for St David's Hospice who provided Andrew with excellent care at home during his last days. Contributions can be made via

Andrew, what a top bloke you were. Your endless funny stories, dry sense of humour and you were always there to help. You used to message me in work with 'Quick Chat', knowing that these chats would last well over an hour at a time. You made us laugh and now you made us cry, fly high Andrew and rest in peace.

Andrew my dear friend, I was grief stricken yesterday to hear of your passing. You were a joy to be around and made everyday in the office a day of fun, humour and educational, regards your views if the world. You cared about others and always wanted to help. The world will be poorer with you not being part of it. My thoughts are with your family now, Claire, Jack and Agnes..rest in peace my friend for now. ....

Will never forget your trademark white head strapping in our youth rugby days. Your dignity and strength is a lesson to us all. May your precious soul rest now in eternal peace.
