Nige - it was a privilege to know you. I always admired your down-to earth approach to life. To me you role-modelled wonderful family and friendship values and you glided through the years with the highest levels of integrity decency kindness commitment curiosity and wonderful humour. It’s so sad your life was cut short but your legacy will be long long lasting. Until we meet again, RIP and thanks for being such a source of happiness to me and so many other people. PD

I am so proud that I was able to call you my dad. You were always there for me and someone I looked up to and admired. I’m devastated that you aren’t at the end of the phone anymore or around to give a big bear hug. Cricket and football matches will never be the same. I’ll make sure my girls know what a great man you were, talk about the happy times (because there were so many) and the cherished memories were able to make along the way. I always loved spending time with you. Rest in peace dad. I am confident we will be together again someday. I love you and will remember you always! Your Rich
