AlanMARTINMr Alan Martin of Broadway Swanwick has died at home, aged 93. Alan lived in Whatstandwell with his late wife Kath for almost 50 years before moving to Swanwick. He worked for British Rail before studying for a degree via Open University and taught Maths at Ernest Bailey Grammar School at Matlock. His interests were walking, gardening, music, playing the piano and oboe and spending time with his family. He leaves two sons and daughters in law, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A funeral Service has been arranged at Amber Valley Crematorium on Wednesday 12th March at 1:00pm. Donations in lieu of flowers will be for The Kidney Fund and RNLI.
