Lester JohnMEREDITHAt peace on November 25th 2023 at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice with family by his side, Lester, aged 92 years of Packmoor.

The dearly loved husband of the late Marjorie, much loved dad of Lynne, dearest friend of Heather, loving grandad of Christopher & Sam, Elizabeth & Doug, treasured great-grandad of Caleb, Cora, Imogen, Scarlett and Tyler, a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

Lester will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his family and many friends.

A service of celebration for Lester's life in faith will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday December 15th at 1pm.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired for The Village Church, Brindley Ford.

Lester will be remembered by this Church for his devotion in the service of the Lord and to the many local churches as a lay preacher. He came many times over the years to bring us the messages that taught, encouraged and gave us hope. As a friend he was very much valued as was his brother. We shall miss him, but now he has now come to rest and receive the promised reward. God Bless Lester.
