Dear Uncle John, we are all so sad that you have left us.

Every Christmas you never missed calling us with a smile, a laugh and a lovely catch-up ❤️

I (you're nephew Alan) remember how you used to take me to airshows when I was young, which I enjoyed so much. It was your who inspired me to then join the Air Force, which I am grateful for.

I (Maryanne) always recall the kindness you showed towards me and I always enjoyed talking to you.

Thank you for the generosity shown to the kids. Carol and James have lovely memories of meeting with you and Irene during their stay in Cornwall and they recall how warm and welcoming you both were. They and Susan also, loved hearing how you were both doing with your adventures last Christmas, which is why your loss has been a big shock to us all.

Uncle John, I wish we could have attended your funeral but due to the distance and with my breathing difficulties, I can't travel far. This makes me sad but now your pain has gone, you can now rest in peace.

Rest in peace Dear Uncle
John, you're never forgotten ❤ all our love from your nephew,
Alan, Maryanne and all the family xxxxx
