Carol AnneMERRISONWith great sadness it is announced that Carol, aged 80 years passed away peacefully on Friday 15th May 2026, whilst in the tender care of St Andrew's Hospice. Beloved wife of 62 years to Barry, a wonderful mum to Andrew and the late Will (Phil), dear mother- in-law and an adored nanna to Sophie, Billy, Finlay and Francesca. Carol was also a dear sister to Lynda, Val and the late Mike (Dusty), auntie, sister-in-law and a great friend to many.
A celebration of Carol's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 28th May 2026 at 3:00p.m.
By request family flowers only and bright attire to be worn if desired. Donations in Carol's memory can be made to St Andrew's Hospice or A Platform to Talk, a donation box will be available on the day.
