Grandpa Pete, I’ll cherish the laughter and the love that you shared with me during my childhood, along with the lessons and wisdom you shared with me during my adulthood. I’ll make sure to light a Christmas pudding every year for you❤️

Pete, glad I saw you less than a month ago and you were still enjoying a large glass or red wine. You'll be missed buddy.

Grandpa was a one in a million. He would always tell you his stories from his past, when he was a driving instructor or a fire fighter. I work at a place called the King's Head where he did the pub quizzes on a thursday evening with his fire fighter buddies, and I am so grateful, I get to work at the place he spent time at. Grandpa was always interested about what is going on in your life and giving words of affirmation when you needed it most. I'm grateful for these 17 years I've had with Grandpa and I wish I had more but I'm grateful for the happy years I've had with him. He truly was the best Grandpa and I'll miss him forever.
