Where to start in paying tribute to my Aunty Mo? She was a huge part of my life in chidhood and the formative years, always generous with help and support. Through hundreds of visits, picnics, parties, joys and tears, Aunty Mo was a reliable blend of sympathy and encouragement. And I know that her life was devoted to being that support for many others too.

I treasure the memories of those magical family holidays in the 60s and 70s, which happened because Aunty Mo and the other family members of her generation made sure that us kids had space to explore.

I am grateful for all that she gave to my life and I'm sure that, in rest, she is smiling contentedly at her much loved children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Vale.

Making a donation seems so inadequate to recognise the massive part Maureen (Aunty Mo) played in my growing years. She was a second mother to me and is in some of my most precious childhood memories. Gone, but fondly remembered and will always be.
