The obituary notice of Howard MORLEY (Philip)

So sad to hear this news. I worked with Howard on Red Watch at Cambridge fire station for a number of years and he was one of those old school characters it was a pleasure to work with and learn from. Away from firefighting we both shared a love of music, especially our respective precious vinyl collections. It's perhaps fitting that when I last saw Howard in St Ives earlier this year he was strolling along with some 7" singles in a plastic bag. Some bargains he had picked up from the secondhand stall to sell on! An old rocker to the end!!!
Go well Howard. Enjoy the eternal record shop and remember - "Go wide at the lights"!

Our thoughts are with you and the family at this sad time. WE haven't known Howard a long time but we have fond memories as neighbours and fellow car booters

Farewell to the table tennis legend of Red Watch, Cambridge. RIP Howard, and as you would always say to us when on a shout, don’t forget to flash your lights as you approach the pearly gates.

I worked with Howard at Fitz college. We got on well. He was such a lovely friendly man. He loved coming to our village club with Jackie. He loved seeing the rock bands. We had some great times together. Rip Howard. You will be greatly missed. Lynn
