KathleenMCCARTHYPeacefully passed away on 27th March 2025, at home following a brave and courageous battle with illness supported by her much loved and devoted family. Kathy is now reunited with her beloved husband John. Loving mum of Julie & Ilene, proud grandma of Gemma & Carla, treasured great grandma of Isla Rose and Finley John. Kathy will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

A funeral service and committal will be held at Woodlands crematorium, Scunthorpe on Thursday 17th April at 2.40pm.

Family flowers only please but if so desired, donations in memory of Kathy for the benefit of Macmillan Cancer Support may be left at the service or sent c/o:

R. Wallace and Son Funeral Directors 27 High St, Crowle, DN17 4LD.

I will miss your smiles and laughter. I feel so priviliged to be able to call you my friend, such a beautiful lady inside and out. I will miss our chats and the sound advice,Thank you for being my friend, will never forget the fact that you were supposed to be my co pilot and giving me directions, but on more than one occasion we missed the turning as we were talking and laughing too much. Rest in peace now, you will be thought of fondly and often.

A lovely lady, who just kept going. An inspiration to many. We will miss chatting to her when she was out and about either walking out if the estate to catch the bus to Brigg or taking her great grandson up to the nursery on Northcliffe Road every morning or indeed taking Odi for a walk round the estate. She will be sorely missed. Our sincere condolences to her lovely family. 🌷🌷🌷
