Peacefully at home on 27th August, aged 70 years.

Beloved wife of James and much loved sister of Gillian, Sarah and John.

She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

All welcome for funeral service at St George's Church, Jesmond on Monday 21st September at 10.30am, to be followed by a private family burial.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Macmillan Cancer Support. A donations box will also be available at the service.

At Bea's request bright colours to be worn.

Dear Bea you were taken too soon - I loved seeing you with James over recent years at Springsteen concerts and in Bruce’s own words: “The road is long and seeming without end
The days go on, I remember you my friend
And though you're gone and my heart's been emptied it seems

Dearest Bea, friend for over 60 years, I’ll always remember you singing ‘I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts’ on the school coach returning from Stratford!
You will be missed by so many. Condolences to James, family and friends.
