Devoted husband of Brenda, father of Dorinda and Claire. Loving grandfather, great grandfather. Brother to Carol.

Public funeral at St Trillo Church, Llandrillo on Saturday, June 22 at 2pm and for the family only at Cynwyd Cemetery. Refreshments to follow at Ysgol Isaf, Cynwyd.

Family flowers only but donations gratefully received in memory of Gerry towards RNLI, Corwen Surgery and Maelor Hospital.

Some fond memories over the last 30-something years: me being young, shy and naive and you going out of your way to make me resilient, your kindness and generosity, your beautiful smile even when the going got tough, your dry humour and your intellect when discussing complex topics with me and my children. My children didn't have grandfathers when growing up, but you were a perfect role model. Your unwavering love for Brenda and the vulnerability you showed when you called me in a panic from a motorway layby when Brenda had her operation. RIP.
