Christopher JohnOWENSIt is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher John Owens (Chris) aged 43, who passed peacefully at home on Wednesday 22nd July, 2026 Chris has lived in Mold, Buckley and recently Aston. Chris will be remembered for his dedicated service as a Health Care assistant on the Vascular ward at the Countess of Chester Hospital. He will also be remembered as a kind, caring and loving person who touched the hearts of every person he met.

Chris was a much loved Son of John and Meryl, Fiancé to Julie, Brother and brother-in-law of Rhian and Mike and an amazing Uncle to Thomas and Elen; a beloved Son-in-law to Alf and Polly, step-dad to Callum, Kayleigh and Jonathan and a loving Grandad to all his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and everyone who knew him.

A Service will take place for Chris on Thursday 6th August, 2pm at Flintshire Memorial Park and Crematorium, Northop. We would love family and friends to join us at the service to bid Chris a fond farewell.

Family flowers only please. For those wishing to leave a message of condolence or donation in memory of Chris; the family have chosen the Shooting Star Cancer Unit at Wrexham Maelor Hospital and Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool, who have provided Chris with care and treatment.

Where do I start! It’s still hard to believe that you’re no longer with us. You came into my life when I needed it the most, you kept me on the straight and narrow and guided me down the right path! You were more than a step dad to me you were a dad, always cared for me and looked out for me! Shown me love and wanted nothing but the best for me. I would give up anything in this world just to hear your voice again, to hear you say ‘morning baldy’. I miss you so much Chris and I’ll love you forever! Keep a chair warm for me, see you soon my mate ♥️🪽
