JamesPETREPeacefully at home on March 26th, surrounded by his loving family, Jim aged 98 years of Billingham. Loving husband of the late Olive, a wonderful dad of Elaine and the late Jimmy, Pat and Pauline also a loving father in law, grandad, great grandad, great great grandad, brother and uncle. Service to take place at St. Cuthbert's Church, Billingham, on Monday April 8th at 12:30pm prior to cremation at Teesside Crematorium. Friends please meet at church, family flowers only any donations in lieu if desired to be shared between Macmillan Cancer Care and Marie Curie. " Thank you for a wonderful life, from all of your family"

Our family definitely has not had the easiest time the last 4 years and now we have said goodbye to another beautiful soul, our Poppa 💔💔

You are out of pain and back with your girls now! Nannie, Page 3, Aunty Pat, Aunty Karen.. not forgetting Uncle Jimmy - I bet they were waiting with the biggest smiles and open arms for you our Hero 💙😔

You have brought us all up to be such wonderful people and I hope we can carry on doing you proud like you made us the proudest people on earth! The stories you have told us about your life and the memories we shared will NEVER be forgotten! We have so much to thank you for Pops❤️

You’ve always been loved unconditionally and this is a very sad time for not just us as a family but there will be a lot of saddened people hearing of the passing of James Petre - LOVE YOU FOREVER 😭❤️

Poppa I have known you most if my life, loved getting turns with the girls for our Saturday morning breakfast, you treat me like your own, same as Pauline, I love you all like my own family, may you rest in peace .... you were one of the nicest men I’ve ever met 💙
