We will miss Roy for his honest advice and guidance together with his humour, integrity, and friendship. He would tackle any problem head-on and always offer help and assistance when needed.

My grandad was a wonderful man. Kind, so funny, and a memory that spanned decades in the railway. He could still name nearly all the colleagues he met along his incredible career. In his 38 years of retirement, he and Thelma maintained and saw the most beautiful garden flourish year after year. He was a proud, and loving husband. As a grandad, he gave me confidence in myself and supported me thoroughly. A life well lived.
