DavidPLATTPeacefully at home in Golcar with his loving family around him on 22nd November 2023, David aged 82 years.

The much loved and loving Husband and soul mate of Christine, adored Dad of Deborah, Alison and the late Andrew. A cherished Grandad of Lauren, Courtney, Lydia, Libby, Spencer, Scarlett and Tom and Super Grandad of Le' vayah, Le' nae, Le' arah and Le' relle. A dear Brother of the late Joyce and Uncle and was fondly known as Pa Platt, Donkey Dave and Platty. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of David's life will take place at Park Wood Crematorium, Elland on Thursday 14th December at 2.15pm.

Family flowers only please but donations would be greatly appreciated for The Lewy Body Society for Dementia and for which a plate will be available after the service. Will friends please accept this intimation and kindly meet at the crematorium.

Happy memories of David. If I remember he worked with me and my dad at Charlie Moons New Mill and lived at Mount Rd Marsden. Also played Cricket for Marsden CC. Happy days. R.I.P. David.

Aah so very sorry to hear about Platty. We had only mentioned him the other day. I was introduced to him, a lot of years ago now by my husband lan Armitage & always listened with enthusiasm to their stories about their love of “the game”. He was always lovely, kind and jovial with plenty of material to provide the laughs. Platty & Christine were always very welcoming to me. Sadly missed. Maxine x
