AlanPORTER(Birtley). Peacefully on 1st November 2023, aged 85 years. Much loved husband of the late Iris, loving dad to Helen and Judith, loved father-in-law to Norman and Steve and proud grandad of Tom, Neve and Sam, dearly loved brother to Alison and uncle to Gillian and Michelle. A true gentleman who will be sadly missed by all his loving family and all who knew him.

Service to take place at Birtley Cemetery Chapel on Friday 17th November 2023, at 1pm, followed by interment at 1.30pm.

A true gentleman in every sense of the word. Uncle Alan will be such a huge loss to our family and to all who knew and loved him.
Fortunate to have had him as my Uncle. He will be fondly remembered and dearly loved and missed by us always.
