MelvinPRATTSuddenly but peacefully on 2nd August 2024 in Scunthorpe General Hospital, Mel aged 81 years.

The devoted and much loved husband of Rose, loving dad of Mark and Nicola and father-in-law of Emma and Lee, adored grandad of Zoe, Ryan and Steve, great-grandad of Darcie and a very good friend to many.

A service to celebrate Mel’s life will be held in Grimsby Crematorium on Monday 19th August 2024 at 12.00 noon.

No flowers please by request, donations in lieu to benefit ‘Therapy Dogs Nationwide’ may be given at the service or sent to: -

Sending heartfelt condolences to Rose and all the family. So many happy memories of Mel, who would call into the school kitchen for a coffee every morning, we would talk football and cricket, you became affectionately known as Mighty Mel. You left such an impression on our Grandchildren Mel, Leo especially thought the world of you, his cricket coach. After you retired we thought about you often. Rest in peace Mel.
