To my wonderful father in law Dave - our ‘pops’ xxx In the last 10 years you have shown me nothing but love, care, kindness and a wicked sense of humour - I’ll miss your daft jokes, and the fact you would repeat them twice for extra effect and follow it with your trademark laugh and daft faces x You were always taking the mickey and your wonderful wife (my lovely mother in law) Clare must have the patience of a saint! I always looked forward to seeing you and always felt better after being in your company x You should be so proud of the legacy you have left behind in your children Nelly (Helen) and David who have grown into loving, caring people with integrity and this is no doubt because of the love and care provided to them from you and Clare and your memory will live on through them and the boys xxx We will all miss you terribly but cherish the memories we have had with you 💙 p.s pops - please can you pull some strings up there and get Everton up the league next season because I don’t know how much more I can take of Nelly, Clare and David shouting at the tv x love you always pops and I promise to forever look after your No.1 girl Nelly and your precious Clare 💙xxx

Deepest sympathy to Clare, Helen,Dave,Ashley and Kelly and the rest of the family on the sad loss of a truly lovely gentleman .
In the short few years we knew him ,
his warmth,generosity and beautiful
unwavering personality were always the same whenever we had the pleasure of his company .
Our only regret is that we hadn't known him sooner!
Such a lovely man.
Pat and Ian Haworth.
