AnnREESMum died on July 14th in Cardiff, after her long battle with Parkinson’s. Ann was born in Swansea to Arthur & Beryl Barber and went to Mynyddbach Comprehensive. She went on to live in Wick, Vale of Glamorgan with her family for 20yrs. She taught in Bryntirion, Pencoed, Llantwit & Ynysawdre. Mum then moved to Bridgend; retraining as an Educational Psychologist. She'd pursue her career in North Wales; living in Llanddoged,Conwy & Llanddaniel Fab,Ynys Môn, before retiring to Pontcanna. Cynhelir yr angladd yng nghapel y Wenallt, amlosgfa Thornhill, Caerdydd am 12.30yh, gyda dathliad a bwyd i'w ddilyn yn nhafarn Y Ffynnon Wen gerllaw; gwelir manylion isod. Bydd parcio ar gael yn y ddau leoliad.

Croeso i chi wisgo sblash o liw i gynrychioli bywiogrwydd ac afiaith Ann.

Dear family and friends, join us to remember the life of the inimitable and irreplaceable Ann Rees on Friday, August 2. The funeral will be held in the Wenallt Chapel at Thornhill Crematorium in Cardiff and will begin at 12.30pm, followed by a celebration and food at The Ffynnon Wen pub nearby. See below for directions. Parking is available at both venues.

Please feel free to wear a splash of colour to represent Ann's vitality and exuberance.

If you can't make it in person, you can stream the funeral live online or watch it later. Go to watch.obitus.com, and enter username madi8916 and password 836879. The stream will begin five minutes before the service.

Remembering Ann (and her parents) from Brunswick Methodist Church (and Penlan Methodist Church where Arthur and my father, Gren Neilson were the last of the original trustees). May she rest in peace and rise in glory. Sincere condolences from the Neilson and Cooke families.
